Summary: The Global Procurement Process & Governance Manager will be responsible for harmonizing and simplifying procurement processes within a leading aerospace company. This contract role involves ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and managing quality management systems. The position is based in Filton and offers the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience and skills to drive effective procurement governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the overall procurement process and governance harmonisation and simplification
- Ensure the procurement processes under your purview are compliant and continuously improved
- Analyse the current state and propose a future-state Quality Management System (QMS)
- Write, manage, and analyse business requirements and points of vigilance
- Adhere to contractual requirements, including external standards such as ISO14001 and ISO9001
- Manage or create an organisation manual, policy, and code of conduct
- Implement a continuous improvement methodology and enable user adoption
- Support internal and external audits as a project manager/leader
- Define and implement a PMO-like setup at the domain, process, and topic levels
- Ensure the right follow-up of cross-process activities
Key Skills:
- Background or training in ISO9001 quality management systems
- Contracts or legal experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an international team
- Structured way of working with a high level of autonomy, drive, and reactivity
- Customer- and service-oriented mindset
- Experience in technical or organisational documentation and process management is a bonus
