Summary: The role of Project Management Officer at a global financial services firm involves supporting infrastructure projects such as network builds and data center construction. The PMO member will collaborate with project managers, track project elements, manage funding requests, and maintain project documentation. This position requires strong communication skills and experience in technology environments, particularly within the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to update schedules and assist in project planning.
- Track project elements: plans, milestones, issues, risks, dependencies.
- Manage funding requests and provide financial tracking against budgets.
- Maintain project deliverables: documentation, SharePoint sites, meeting minutes.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and status reports.
- Conduct quality reviews for compliance with Project Life Cycle requirements.
- Develop presentations on resourcing, variance, and trend analysis.
- Work with regional and global teams to identify synergies and best practices.
- Assist in establishing project management standards and templates.
- Provide portfolio management support to technical teams.
- Support departmental activities and cross-IT initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years for Analyst position; 3 years Project Management experience.
- Formal project management training is a plus.
- Financial Industry experience preferred.
- Experience in Technology environments and IT infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (PPM, SharePoint).
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Ambitious with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
