Global Internal Communications Manager

As part of a high-performing Global Internal Communications team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering impactful communication strategies that connect employees to business priorities, leadership messages, organisational change initiatives, and company culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications Strategy & Planning
  • Partner with senior leaders and business functions to develop and execute internal communications strategies.
  • Provide strategic communications support across transformation programmes, organisational change initiatives, and key business projects.
  • Translate complex business topics into clear, engaging, and actionable communications.
  • Deliver employee engagement initiatives that strengthen understanding, alignment, and connection.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practice communications approaches.
  • Measure and evaluate communications effectiveness, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Content & Storytelling
  • Create compelling communications content across a variety of formats and channels.
  • Write and edit leadership messages, announcements, articles, briefings, toolkits, and campaign materials.
  • Deliver engaging storytelling that resonates with diverse employee audiences.
  • Develop reusable communications resources for use across global functions.
  • Channels & Engagement
  • Manage and coordinate content across internal communication channels.
  • Ensure communications are timely, accurate, visually engaging, and aligned with channel governance.
  • Adapt content for different digital platforms and audience needs.
  • Support continuous improvement of communications channels through feedback and insight.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with communications colleagues to ensure an integrated approach across the organisation.
  • Contribute to communication frameworks, templates, and best practice resources.
  • Support a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

About You

Essential Experience

Significant experience in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, or Strategic Communications.

Background partnering with senior stakeholders and providing communications counsel.

Experience developing and delivering communication strategies aligned to business objectives.

Proven success supporting transformation, organisational change, or large-scale business initiatives.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Stakeholder management and influencing capabilities within complex organisations.

Experience using data and insights to measure communications effectiveness.

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work at pace.

Excellent judgement, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

Desirable Experience

Experience working within large, global organisations.

Exposure to Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality functions.

Experience supporting international audiences and global communications programmes.

Familiarity with modern internal communications channels and engagement platforms.
