Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and build finance reports supporting Profit and Loss by business division.
- Attend design workshops and support the Business solution lead manager.
- Document design decisions and complete design workbooks.
- Support business impact assessments and coordinate with the reporting team.
- Work with the core GL lead to understand the new enterprise structure.
- Input into training plans and assist with test planning and execution.
- Link with change management for user training information and cutover planning.
- Provide warranty support and identify risks with mitigation controls.
- Collaborate with business readiness teams for training and data migration.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of margin reporting and data analysis.
- Experience implementing change with a focus on controls and automation.
- Desirable experience with large ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
- Self-management and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and escalate issues timely.

About the role
You will join a project team to assist with implementing the Oracle Fusion ERP system into NEXT Finance, initially replacing AP, AR and GL.
Responsibilities
You will be working on how we, design, configure and build the Finance reports that support the Profit and Loss by business division ('streaming', utilising the EPM capabilities in the Oracle Fusion software. You will be a key member of our team attending our design workshops supporting the Business solution lead manager. Key lead to one of the key deliverables of the programme alongside wider financial reporting. This will involve:
- Making and documenting design decisions inline with scope
- Completion of design workbooks
- Supporting business impact assessments
- Coordination with reporting team
- Working with the core GL lead to understand and reflect the new designed enterprise structure
- Input into training plan
- Test planning
- Test execution
- Linking with change management and business adoption providing user training information
- Cutover planning
- Cut over execution
- Warranty support
- Understanding and highlighting any risks and ensuring controls are in place to mitigate risk.
You will also be working with several business readiness teams:
- Existing commercial finance teams
- Change management and adoption team ensuring we have the appropriate training for all users
- Data migration team to ensure we have accurate data migrating into the new system
- Reporting team to ensure the GL and other management information can be reconciled.
Criteria
- Strong understanding of margin reporting and how data can be used to achieve different reporting requirements and analysis
- Experience of implementing change, demonstrating ability to focus on controls and automation
- Experience with another large ERP systems is desirable, preferably Oracle Fusion
- Ability to self manage, methodical with strong organisational skills ensuring multiple tasks can run in parallel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and escalate issues in an appropriate and timely manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excel, Powerpoint and/or Google Presentation skills
- Prior exposure to analytical tool kits, power BI, cloud based data is desirable
