Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure SOX control procedures are followed and assist with audit requests

Accountant 12 month contract City based office Our client, a tech business based in the City, is looking to recruit an Accountant on a temporary 12 month basis. They are looking to get someone started in January 2026. Key responsibilities of the job will include: • Support the general ledger month-end close process of US GAAP books • Monthly production of month-end journals • Balance sheet reconciliations • Assist with the intercompany recharges • Accruals and prepayments • Maintain fixed asset register • Weekly bank reconciliations • Ensure SOX control procedures are followed and assist with audit requests • Assist the Compliance team with the preparation of schedules for statutory filings and financial audits The ideal candidate will be part qualified ACCA with multi currency experience and ideally knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS. Experience of working with listed companies would be ideal but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to build positive working relationships is essential. You must be available to start in early January 2026 to be considered.
