Geography Teacher

Summary: The role is for an exceptional Geography Teacher for a long-term interim position at a respected secondary school in Birmingham, starting immediately or from Easter (April 2025). The position is full-time and has the potential to extend until the end of the academic year. Candidates must have a relevant UK teaching qualification and experience teaching Geography at various key stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Geography to secondary school students across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities.

Key Skills:

• Relevant UK-based teaching qualification (QTS).
• Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school.
• Strong understanding of the UK education system and curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional references and documentation for safer recruitment.
