GenAI Engineer | London | Hybrid
We are currently hiring for a GenAI Engineer to join an enterprise technology environment, working on the design, development and deployment of production-ready Generative AI solutions.
Working Model: Hybrid – office attendance required based on business/project requirements
Duration: 6–12 months
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy Generative AI applications for enterprise use cases
- Build AI agents, copilots, conversational applications and document intelligence solutions
- Develop RAG pipelines using vector search, embeddings and enterprise knowledge sources
- Apply prompt engineering and retrieval optimisation to improve LLM responses
- Integrate GenAI solutions with enterprise systems and APIs
- Develop secure and scalable API layers using REST and related integration patterns
- Contribute to AI architecture, cloud deployment, monitoring and cost optimisation
- Implement LLM evaluation, hallucination detection, guardrails and responsible AI practices
- Support production deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on AI/LLM/ML delivery
- Strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or equivalent LLM platforms
- Experience building RAG applications and AI agents
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Studio or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of embeddings, vector search, chunking and retrieval optimisation
- Experience with REST APIs, OData, GraphQL or event-driven architectures
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Understanding of enterprise security including RBAC, OAuth 2.0, managed identities and data governance
Desirable
- Experience integrating GenAI solutions with SAP S/4HANA
- SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite / SAP AI Core / SAP Joule
- Azure AI Search / OpenSearch / Pinecone
- LangSmith / Azure Monitor / AWS CloudWatch
- Experience with LLM evaluation, guardrails and Responsible AI
