Summary: The General Plant Attendant role is a hands-on position within a high-performing industrial energy facility in Fife, focused on supporting the safe and efficient operation of the plant. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the plant
- Operating mobile plant equipment including Forklift, Telehandler, and Front-loading shovel
- Assisting with plant maintenance, breakdowns, and emergency response
- Carrying out routine inspections, reporting defects, and maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Ensuring full compliance with HSEQ procedures and site regulations
- Handling and managing COSHH materials safely
- Reporting incidents, near misses, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills:
- Experience working in a plant, industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment
- Mobile plant experience (Forklift, Telehandler, or Loading Shovel)
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures (HSE)
- Ability to react quickly and make sound decisions in operational environments
- Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach

This is a hands-on role within a high-performing plant environment, supporting the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the site. The Role
- Working as part of a small operations/maintenance team, you will be responsible for:
