General Foreman

Summary: The General Foreman will report directly to the Site Manager and is responsible for supporting the coordination of safe management on major projects or overseeing site activities on smaller projects. The role emphasizes adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards while ensuring compliance with budget and program requirements. The General Foreman will also assist in security risk assessments and the implementation of safety measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage initial site set-up in conjunction with the Site Manager.
• Implement framework systems and procedures effectively.
• Enforce methods and controls for optimal resource use.
• Assist in appraising security risks and applying appropriate measures.
• Support the maintenance and enforcement of safety standards.

Key Skills:

• ONC or HNC in a construction-related discipline (advantageous).
• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid training.
• Preferably confined space trained.
• Experience in the water treatment industry (Clean Non-Infrastructure).
