Summary: The GCP Test Lead role at Summer-Browning Associates involves supporting the validation, assurance, and testing of cloud-hosted platforms within secure Google Distributed Cloud environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Support validation, assurance, and testing of cloud-hosted platforms and services.
- Engage in infrastructure, integration, and platform testing activities.
- Collaborate within Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps delivery practices.
- Utilize knowledge of Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment approaches.
- Conduct automated testing using frameworks or scripting languages.
Key Skills:
- Experience testing cloud-hosted or cloud-native platforms and services.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps delivery practice.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, integration, and platform testing activities.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform.

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking a GCP Test Lead for an initial twelve-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - London (x3 days per week onsite)
About the role: You will be responsible for supporting the validation, assurance, and testing of cloud-hosted platforms, infrastructure, and services operating within secure Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and private cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will hold Active SC or DV and have a strong background in delivery GCP Test Lead support, with the following skills and experience:
- Experience testing cloud-hosted or cloud-native platforms and services.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps delivery practice.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, integration, and platform testing activities
- Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerised platforms, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (eg Terraform)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment approaches
- Experience with automated testing frameworks or Scripting languages eg Python (Desirable)
