They are looking for an experienced Lead Cloud Platform Architect to drive the enablement of GCP across the business. This will involve shaping and delivering the core platform foundations that support GCP adoption across the organisation. Reporting to the Principal Cloud Platform Architect, you’ll sit within a central team providing leadership and direction on the high-level implementation and delivery of the platform.
Requirements:
- Extensive, long-standing, in-depth practical knowledge of GCP
- GCP IaaS, PaaS, governance, compliance, security services and IAM
- Architecture practitioner experience in a large-scale organisation, with the ability to extract requirements and make sound, motivated recommendations
- Strong understanding of GCP networking principles, with the ability to guide those transitioning from on-premises environments
- Track record of delivering significant, sustainable change that improves business effectiveness
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with proven ability to influence, negotiate and win over diverse stakeholders
