Summary: The role of Infrastructure Architect – Data & Analytics focuses on the migration of a large on-premise ETL and data warehouse environment to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and design the migration of on-premise ETL and data warehouse to GCP.
- Define a low-risk lift-and-shift / transitional architecture and migration roadmap.
- Engage with stakeholders and document architecture.
- Plan migration strategy, cutover, and rollback.
Key Skills:
- Strong GCP architecture & migration experience.
- Experience with legacy ETL platforms (IBM DataStage, Ab Initio, Teradata).
- Infrastructure design (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
