We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Contract Manager to join a Local Authority in North West London on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for overseeing gas servicing, maintenance contracts and statutory compliance across a residential housing portfolio of approximately 10,000 properties under the Council's direct and indirect management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery and performance of gas servicing and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure full compliance with gas safety legislation, regulations and statutory requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.
- Manage compliance risks, resolve performance issues and drive continuous service improvements.
- Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to maintain safe, compliant housing stock.
About You
You will have a proven track record in managing gas compliance contracts within a Local Authority or Housing Association environment, alongside extensive knowledge of residential gas safety regulations.
Strong contract management, budget monitoring and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
