Summary: The Gaming Tutor role is based in a well-established 6th form college in North East London, offering both full-time and part-time positions starting in September. The ideal candidate will have experience in 2D and 3D game production, a solid understanding of game design principles, and a background in creative media production. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach gaming concepts and skills related to 2D and 3D game production.
- Develop and deliver lessons that incorporate game design principles.
- Support students in their vocational training and creative industry experiences.
- Collaborate with industry partners to enhance the curriculum.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the gaming department.
Key Skills:
- Formal teaching qualification or significant industry experience.
- Programming experience in C#.
- Visual scripting/basic programming skills (e.g., Bolt).
- Proficiency in Unity for 3D game production.
- 3D modeling and texturing skills using Blender.
- Experience with Photoshop for concept art and textures.
- Game design industry planning and research skills.
- Strong mathematical skills relevant to games (GCSE/A-Level level).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Gaming tutor for a great 6th from college based in North East London, the college can offer the post on a part or full time basis to start in September. They are looking a gaming tutor with experience in 2D and 3D game production pipelines, understanding of underlying game design principles and a wider knowledge of the creative media production industries. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a successful and growing department, within a supportive framework. They are keen to look over gaming tutor CVs ASAP and meet gaming tutor's over the next couple of weeks
