Summary: The role of Project Manager / Functional Lead focuses on leading a SAP S/4 process transformation programme in London. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional deep-dives across SAP S/4 out-of-the-box processes and configuration scenarios
- Translate SAP S/4 best-practice flows into business-specific comparison frameworks for workshops and stakeholder reviews
- Prepare variant considerations and configuration implications across relevant process areas
- Validate SAP inputs, demo content and configuration materials ahead of workshops
- Perform detailed comparison of current-state vs SAP S/4 standard across process, data, roles and controls
- Identify configuration changes, enhancement requirements and technical constraints
- Validate functional outputs and challenge alignment with business needs
- Capture functional dependencies, integration touchpoints and design implications
- Produce impact summaries across roles, data, controls and workflow
- Build structured fit-gap narratives including configuration options, limitations, impacts and recommendations
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering SAP S/4 transformation or major ERP/process change programmes
- Strong understanding of SAP best-practice process design
- Experience running fit-gap analysis, workshop preparation and functional assessment activity
- Ability to assess as-is vs to-be processes across process, data, controls and workflow
- Experience identifying configuration impacts, design dependencies and integration touchpoints
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop delivery skills
- Able to produce clear documentation, impact assessments and decision-support materials
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced transformation environment
