Summary: The role of Senior HRIS Functional Consultant involves leading the technical architecture, data migration, and systems enablement for a global Microsoft Viva Glint implementation. The consultant will translate complex business requirements into effective system designs, ensuring seamless data integration from core HRIS platforms. The role is remote or hybrid and is offered on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the functional design and configuration of Viva Glint, including organizational hierarchies and survey distribution logic.
  • Architect and execute the migration of historical engagement data, managing the ETL lifecycle.
  • Partner with IT/Tenant Admins to establish and validate the "People Feed" for automated data synchronization.
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR stakeholders and Technical teams to define functional specifications.
  • Design and govern the UAT phase, developing testing scripts and validating data integrity.
  • Produce comprehensive functional documentation and operational guides for the BAU team.

Position Overview

We are seeking two Senior HRIS Functional Consultants to spearhead the technical architecture, data migration, and systems enablement for a global enterprise-scale Microsoft Viva Glint implementation.

This role requires a consultant with a deep understanding of HR data structures and the functional nuances of Employee Experience (EX) platforms. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into a robust system design, ensuring seamless data flows from the core HRIS (Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.) into the Microsoft Viva ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities

  • System Architecture & Configuration: Lead the functional design and end-to-end configuration of Viva Glint. This includes defining organizational hierarchies, complex attribute mapping, and survey distribution logic tailored to a global workforce.

  • Data Migration Strategy: Architect and execute the migration of historical engagement data. You will own the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) lifecycle-mapping Legacy schemas to the Glint data model to ensure longitudinal reporting continuity.

  • System Integration & Automation: Partner with IT/Tenant Admins to establish and validate the "People Feed." You will ensure the integrity of automated data synchronization via SFTP or API protocols.

  • Requirements Engineering: Act as the primary liaison between HR stakeholders and Technical teams. You will facilitate discovery sessions to define functional specifications that align with organizational objectives.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance (UAT): Design and govern the UAT phase. This involves developing testing scripts, validating data integrity post-ingestion, and ensuring that security/permission roles meet strict compliance standards.

  • Knowledge Transfer: Produce comprehensive functional documentation, system playbooks, and operational guides to facilitate a seamless transition to the BAU (Business As Usual) team.

Professional Requirements

  • Implementation Experience: A proven track record of delivering end-to-end functional implementations of enterprise EX platforms (eg, Viva Glint, Qualtrics, Peakon).

  • Advanced Data Governance: Extensive experience in data mapping, cleansing, and manipulation within complex relational databases and large-scale datasets.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong familiarity with the Microsoft 365/Azure environment and how EX platforms integrate with core HRIS master data.

  • Analytical Rigour: The ability to architect data structures that support advanced response analytics and executive-level reporting.

  • Consultative Approach: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at both the technical and executive levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct implementation experience with Microsoft Viva Glint (experience with Peakon,Qualtrics, Culture Amp)

  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and user provisioning workflows.

  • Background in Management Consultancy or large-scale Digital Transformation programs.
