A leading global financial services firm is seeking a talented and motivated Application Delivery Tooling Developer to join its Core Infrastructure division based in Glasgow. This firm provides a wide range of services in investment banking, securities, investment management, and wealth management across over 41 countries.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performing, Agile team that develops critical infrastructure supporting large-scale systems with a focus on automation, scalability, and innovation.

About the Team

The Application Delivery team manages the firm's global Application Delivery Controller (ADC/load-balancer) and DNS/DHCP infrastructure. The tooling platform supports Real Time self-service functionality, RESTful APIs, and global device management, playing a vital role in the firm's mission-critical systems.

As part of the Application Delivery Tooling Squad, based entirely in Glasgow, you'll be developing and integrating modern tooling and onboarding customers to a highly available and resilient software/hardware platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop core functionality in the management platform using Java and Python

Essential Skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python programming
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Scripting languages (eg, Bash, Perl) or Front End tools (eg, JavaScript/Angular)
  • Understanding of ADC/load-balancer infrastructure and APIs (eg, F5)
  • Experience with DNS/DHCP platforms and APIs (eg, Infoblox)
  • Exposure to API gateways like Apigee or Mulesoft, and comfort with REST/SOAP APIs
