Full-Stack GitOps Engineer
Must have strong experience in Kong and Envoy within a banking environment.
Location: London - 5 days per week onsite
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £425 per day

We are recruiting for a talented Full-Stack/GitOps Engineer to join a major banking programme based in Glasgow.
This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong full-stack development experience, modern Front End and Back End technologies, API gateway configuration and GitOps-based delivery.
Banking or financial services experience is essential.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript development experience
- Hands-on experience building applications using React.js and Next.js
- Backend development experience with Python, Golang or Java
- Experience building schema-driven UIs and services
- Strong understanding of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and/or JSON Schema
- Professional experience configuring API gateways, including:
- Kong
- Envoy
- Akamai/CloudFront
- Strong hands-on GitOps experience
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to Akamai/CloudFront, including CDN, WAF and edge configuration
- Experience with drift detection and desired-state reconciliation
