Fullstack Engineer – TypeScript & Go (Contract) Bristol (Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site) Must be eligible for SC (10+ years UK residency required) One stage Interview Process Freelance / Contract ASAP

We’re hiring a skilled Fullstack Engineer to join a forward-thinking aviation client on a brand new greenfield application — a Tuning Tool — with significant scope to shape the technical architecture. This role offers a true 50/50 split between frontend (TypeScript) and backend (Go) development in a modern, agile engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable fullstack applications
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code using TypeScript (frontend) and Go (backend)
  • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to shape system design
  • Work within a flexible and fast-paced development environment
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and tuning of cloud-based services

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React or similar)
  • Solid Go (Golang) backend development skills
  • Experience with cloud-native application design (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerisation (Docker), and modern DevOps practices
  • Agile development background

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in secure environments or government/aviation sectors
  • Exposure to system tuning tools or similar domain-specific apps
