Summary: The Full Stack Engineer role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable applications using Java and Angular within a leading global financial services organization. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high-impact digital products in an Agile environment. The role is hybrid, requiring one week onsite per month in Dublin, Ireland, and is contract-based for 12 months. Candidates must have relevant experience and be based in the Dublin area with appropriate work authorization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes and Lambda.
  • Build high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git and Jenkins.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA engineers and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Develop and support modern UI components using Angular, JavaScript or similar frameworks.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or similar Software Engineer role.
  • Strong backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies such as Angular or JavaScript frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices, automated testing and Agile software development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with virtual assistants or chatbots would be an advantage.

Full Stack Software Engineer
