With a small but highly capable team, early traction, and their seed raise in progress, they need someone with a passion to take on a Senior/Principal Engineer to lead on technology today, with a clear growth path to CTO as they scale. This is a unique opportunity to own the technical vision, shape the product roadmap, and build the foundations of the engineering culture from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and lead development of their secure, scalable data analytics platform.
- Collaboratively work with the CEO to define the technical vision and roadmap for data initiatives, from collection and integration to advanced analytics and machine learning.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs for secure data exchange between internal and external systems.
- Implement and maintain data privacy, compliance, and security best practices (e.g., GDPR, encryption, access controls).
- Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure using modern cloud-based architectures.
- Extract actionable insights from complex datasets to inform product development and business strategy.
- Work closely with advisors and stakeholders to align technical and product goals.
- Recruit and mentor a high-performance technical team post-funding.
