Summary: The role of Full-Stack Software Engineer focuses on developing a web and mobile application for a Class 2b medical device, emphasizing frontend development while also engaging in backend systems. The engineer will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create a regulation-compliant digital health platform aimed at enhancing patient treatment and monitoring. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining application features, ensuring optimal performance, and adhering to industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy new features and modules for a regulated medical device application.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces from wireframe models and build new ones as needed.
- Ensure optimal performance and user experience of the application.
- Write high-quality, clean, readable, and testable source code within deadlines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and test applications.
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features.
- Maintain documentation with technical requirements and software design specifications.
- Collaborate on embedded firmware development for systems integration.
- Establish and execute software test plans, assessing device limitations.
- Communicate effectively with hardware developers for timely technical deliverables.
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing in accordance with industry standards.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or similar.
- Experience in DeepTech/MedTech/FinTech, IT & Digital Solutions as a mid/senior developer or technical lead.
- Proven programming skills in React Native, React, NodeJS, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with the full project life cycle including design, coding, documentation, testing, and maintenance.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Desirable: Experience in Azure or equivalent cloud platform, knowledge of machine learning and AI, Python, Java, UI/UX design, and API development.
- Understanding of HIPAA, FDA, GDPR compliance.
