Summary: The Full Stack Engineer (.NET/Angular) role is with a leading financial services organization in the UK, seeking an experienced developer to join an Agile team. The position requires expertise in .NET and Angular, focusing on delivering features and enhancements to core financial applications. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and troubleshooting production issues while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver new features and enhancements to core financial applications
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and testers to define and implement solutions
- Support and troubleshoot production issues, including root cause analysis
- Interpret written specifications and JIRA stories, working independently where needed
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservice components
- Develop and support Front End web interfaces using Angular
- Produce and maintain technical documentation in JIRA and Confluence
- Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing across the team
- Ensure development work aligns with regulatory and quality standards
- Engage with stakeholders and IT teams to deliver timely outcomes
Key Skills:
- 8+ years' experience in .NET and Angular development
- Proficient in C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, and microservice architecture
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture
- Track record of delivering in Agile environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in the Financial Services sector
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices (desirable)
- Ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders (desirable)
- Knowledge of Agile governance and change management in FS (desirable)
