Summary: The role is for a Full Stack Developer with SC clearance, primarily working remotely with occasional on-site presence in Longbenton, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. The position involves ensuring the operational stability and resilience of products developed for a public sector client. Candidates must be proficient in various technologies, including Java, JavaScript, and cloud services like AWS, and have experience with both SQL and No-SQL databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure operational stability and resilience of developed products.
- Utilize open source technologies such as Java and JavaScript.
- Work with SQL and No-SQL database applications like Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Implement distributed version control systems like Git.
- Develop using mandatory skills including Node.js, React, Angular, AWS, and Terraform.
- Apply Java technologies including Spring Boot, Drop Wizard, Hibernate, and Maven.
- Utilize JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Node.js, Express, and Mongoose.
- Work with microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Employ CI tooling like Git, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
Key Skills:
- SC clearance.
- Proficiency in Java (11) and associated frameworks.
- Experience with JavaScript and related technologies.
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with AWS and Terraform.
- Familiarity with SQL and No-SQL databases.
