Summary: The role of Full Stack Developer requires an experienced professional to ensure the operational stability and resilience of products for a Public Sector client. The position is primarily remote with two days per month on-site in Longbenton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The contract duration is between 6 to 12 months, and the role is classified as inside IR35. Candidates must be proficient in various technologies including Java, JavaScript, and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure operational stability and resilience of developed products.
- Utilize open source technologies such as Java and JavaScript.
- Work with SQL and no-SQL databases including Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Implement distributed version control systems like Git.
- Develop using mandatory skills: Node.js, React, Angular, AWS, and Terraform.
- Apply technology skills in Java (11), JavaScript, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Utilize CI tooling such as Git, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and Artifactory.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Java (11) and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Drop Wizard, Hibernate, Jersey, CXF, Maven).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, Express, Mongoose, Sequelize, Gulp).
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Active/Rabbit MQ, Apache Kafka) and API Gateway (Kong or equivalent).
- Experience with AWS and Terraform.
