Summary: As a Contractor Data Assurance & Data Requirements Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting a regulatory change programme within a leading financial services organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and regulatory readiness, while collaborating with various teams to refine data requirements. This position offers a 6-month contract with the potential for extensions and involves hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commissions Redress Programme with a focus on data accuracy and regulatory readiness.
  • Reconcile data from multiple source systems and perform detailed data assurance and automated testing.
  • Investigate data variances to drive resolution and ensure data is fit for operational and regulatory reporting.
  • Own and refine data requirements, translating complex regulatory guidance into clear data definitions.
  • Contribute to UAT, define BAU processes, and support early life activity post-deployment.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in data quality assurance, data testing, and reconciliation.
  • Background in data assurance or testing with a solid business analysis skill set.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and aggregated datasets.
  • Ability to translate regulatory or complex business requirements into data requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial services and regulatory programme experience (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.

Your new company

A leading financial services organisation is delivering a critical regulatory change programme and is seeking additional contract expertise to support its data and reporting workstream.

Your new role

As a Contractor Data Assurance & Data Requirements Analyst, you will support a time-bound Commissions Redress Programme with a focus on data accuracy, reconciliation and regulatory readiness.

You will be responsible for reconciling data from multiple source systems, performing detailed data assurance and automated testing, and investigating data variances to drive resolution. Working closely with data engineering, modelling and business teams, you will ensure data is fit for operational and regulatory reporting purposes.The role also includes ownership and ongoing refinement of data requirements, translating complex regulatory guidance into clear and robust data definitions.

You will contribute to UAT, define BAU processes, and support early life activity post-deployment.
