Summary: Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a long-term contract role based in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on modern frameworks and methodologies. This position requires a senior-level developer who can enhance and manage existing applications while leading junior developers. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days onsite and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and manage existing applications using the latest standards, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Convert macro-level requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Understand and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle.
  • Lead junior developers and contractors on design, development, and code reviews.
  • Implement testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Transition applications from legacy UI technologies to modern web frameworks.
  • Ensure clean and well-documented code.
  • Work with Oracle database and perform query tuning.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of eight years of overall IT experience.
  • At least three years of experience with Angular and/or React.
  • Solid Java programming language experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6.
  • Experience with Spring framework, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
  • Familiarity with relevant globally supported frameworks.
  • Understanding of user experience and product strategy.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Experience with mobile responsive designs and UI component libraries like Material, Bootstrap, or Telerik.
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management/ITIL processes and tools.

Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Full Stack Developer on a long-term contract basis. Job ID 82772 Work Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302- 3 days onsite and 2 days REMOTE. ***Must be local to New York or New Jersey*** No relocation candidates.

Pay: $65-68 per hour W2

We are looking for a senior creative, seasoned, full-stack web engineer to enhance and manage our existing applications using the latest standards, methodologies and frameworks. Successful candidates will have a minimum of eight years experience with the required skills listed below:

  • Be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries
  • Understand and convert macro level requirements into actionable tasks
  • Understand the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle
  • Understand threat modeling concepts and how to implement them
  • 7 years of overall IT experience
  • At least three years experience with: Angular and/or React
  • Solid Java programming language experience
  • Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
  • Experience with Spring framework, Spring Boot and Spring MVC
  • Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework-both front-end and back-end, if necessary (e.g., React )
  • Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
  • Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
  • Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management/ITIL processes and tools
