Full Stack Developer
Summary: We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join an Agile delivery team for a 6-month contract. The role involves hands-on Node.js development, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong emphasis on best practices in software engineering. The role is hybrid with occasional travel to Newcastle.

Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Node.js (including frameworks such as Express).
- Proficiency with NPM.
- Strong commitment to Test Driven Development (TDD) and common test frameworks (eg, Jest, Mocha, Chai).
- Experience with both Relational and NoSQL data stores (eg, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (eg, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Containers (Docker).
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture (eg, Kafka, SNS/SQS, EventBridge).
- Cloud platform experience, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Node.js performance tuning and observability tooling (eg, OpenTelemetry).

About the Role
