Full Stack Developer- 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - London
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a DevOps Services team within the CTO function, reporting directly to a Lead. This is a hands-on role covering the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, and production support. There are no separate teams for these functions-ownership is end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a small, collaborative team of 4-6 engineers (potentially distributed geographically)
- Translate business requirements into user stories and deliver iteratively to production
- Take ownership of production support ( you build it, you run it model)
- Identify and address technical debt while balancing new feature delivery
- Design solutions aligned with architectural guidelines and technical constraints
- Collaborate closely with teammates, including pair programming
- Contribute across all stages of the development lifecycle
- Ensure quality through testing and continuous improvement practices
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience in at least one language (Kotlin, Java, or JavaScript preferred)
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
- Solid understanding of databases from a consumer/application perspective
- Familiarity with HTTP APIs, including RESTful services
Contract Details
- Location: London (3 days a week)
- Day Rate: up to £600 Inside IR35
- Duration: 6 months
