Summary: An experienced Full stack C#/Angular Developer is needed by a leading Hedge Fund to join an engineering team focused on data warehousing and distribution for trading, treasury, and operations. The role involves developing new business logic, migrating services to a Microsoft Orleans platform, and standardizing microservices. The ideal candidate should possess strong engineering skills in C# and Angular, along with a background in Financial Services. This position is offered as an initial 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business logic to enhance existing infrastructure code.
- Migrate services to a new Microsoft Orleans based platform.
- Implement standard design patterns for reusable code and standardize microservices setup.
- Contribute to the migration of legacy data warehousing services to a modern Snowflake setup.
- Identify and solve problems independently.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on engineering skills in C# and Angular.

An Experienced Full stack C#/Angular Developer is sought after by a leading Hedge Fund to join an engineering team responsible for data warehousing and distribution across their trading, treasury and operations functions.
The team have ownership of the Funds Real Time Equity trading system, Bonds management platform as well as general data warehousing across the wider business functions.
There is currently an extensive pipeline of work, which includes the development of new business logic to augment their existing infrastructure code, the migration of services onto a new Microsoft Orleans based platform and the ongoing implementation of standard design patterns for re-useable code and standardising their microservices setup.
You will be expected to contribute across of these different projects, as well as the migration of Legacy data warehousing services to a new modern Snowflake set up, with the role suiting someone who is a self-starter who can identify and solve problems under their own initiative.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Strong hands-on engineering skills in C# and Angular
An understanding of data warehousing and data distribution (ideally with knowledge of Snowflake or Databricks)
A background in Financial Services with knowledge of financial instruments such as Bonds, Repos, Equities etc.
Strong communication skills with the confidence and ability to face off directly to the business
Please not this is being offered as an initial 6 month FTC with possibility to extend and/or convert to permanent
The working policy for this role is also 4 days in office in Central London
