Summary: The Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician is essential for maintaining aircraft operational readiness in Saudi Arabia, focusing on both on-aircraft and component maintenance. This role requires adherence to safety and quality standards while collaborating with various departments. Technicians will execute technical orders, manage spare parts, and guide trainees, ensuring compliance with established procedures. A strong background in aircraft maintenance and effective communication skills are crucial for success in this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Technical Orders for avionics work, encompassing both on-aircraft and component maintenance.
- Conduct component maintenance including inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Perform on-aircraft tasks such as installation, repair, modification, and testing of aircraft systems.
- Ensure adherence to standards and procedures outlined in the MOE.
- Maintain strict tool control procedures.
- Manage spare part requirements using the Gold ESP logistics system.
- Provide guidance to SNTTP programs on engineering issues.
- Execute TCTO’s (Time Compliance Technical Orders) and special inspections as directed.
- Facilitate the development of assigned SNTTP trainees.
- Adhere to company Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies.
- Report and mitigate incidents, accidents, or near misses.
- Conduct audits as necessary to ensure risk mitigation.
Key Skills:
- Completion of a recognized aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or ONC qualification with relevant military training.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an operational flying aircraft environment or 3 years on the same aircraft type.
- Relevant type training and specific certifications.
- Strong verbal communication skills for technical discussions.
- High standards in housekeeping and FOD prevention.
- Familiarity with RSAF technical publications.
- Proficient in oral and written communication with tactful interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a diverse workforce.
- Understanding of BAESSA engineering operating procedures.
- HF (Human Factors) and WOME (Working On Military Equipment) trained.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
