Summary: The role of Frontend Developer (Next.js) involves joining a fast-paced retail programme to build high-quality user interfaces for a modern e-commerce platform. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance frontend applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and external services
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise applications for mobile and desktop
  • Participate in design discussions and contribute to high-level architecture decisions
  • Write well-tested, documented, and reusable code
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and QA
  • Support delivery through active participation in agile ceremonies and technical discussions

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong Next.js expertise to join a fast-paced retail programme. You will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and performant user interfaces for a modern e-commerce platform, working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
