Summary: The Frontend Developer role involves working with a leading energy trading business to develop a modern post-trade platform using React or Svelte. The position requires hands-on experience in building user interfaces and working within agile teams, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions in commodities trading. Candidates with experience in Python and AWS services will be prioritized. This is a six-month contract with a requirement for three days onsite in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop modern user interfaces using React or Svelte.
- Collaborate within agile product teams to build a post-trade platform.
- Implement features for live PnL and intraday position reporting.
- Work on digitized front office workflows.
- Utilize TypeScript in development processes.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with React or Svelte.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience in building modern UIs as part of a product team.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Experience in commodities or trading (preferred).
- Knowledge of Python and AWS services (S3, ECS, AppSync).
- Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Kafka or message queue systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases.
