Summary: The Frontend Developer will be a key member of Zest's IT team, focusing on the design and development of a new platform and application suite to support the company's ambitious electric vehicle charging installation program. The role emphasizes creating user-friendly interfaces while ensuring application stability, scalability, and security. The developer will collaborate with various internal stakeholders and contribute to the company's mission of leading the transition to zero carbon. This position is contract-based for an initial period of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and document UX/UI functionality.
• Ensure application stability, scalability, security, and performance.
• Align development work with coding standards.
• Document solutions for all deliverables.
• Implement automated build and test processes for deliverables.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in React, Typescript / JavaScript.
• Familiar with UI libraries, preferably PrimeReact.
• Experience working with APIs, including ZOD, type management, and error handling.
• Proficient in Sass and CSS modules, with a primary focus on Sass.
• Knowledgeable in testing libraries such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience with website tagging and analytics.
• Familiarity with monorepo architecture and Rush build tool.
• Experience with Azure authentication using MSAL and Entra.
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL data structures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
• Knowledge of React Native.
