Summary: The Frontend Developer at Dabster will be responsible for collaborating with designers and project managers to develop and maintain front-end applications using modern frameworks like Angular and React. The role involves architecting frontend projects, integrating new technologies, and ensuring high-quality code through unit testing. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with designers, writing front-end code and unit tests, working on the front-end architecture.
- Spearheading the development of the frontend stack, architecting, and building frontend projects.
- Being involved in inception to delivery of various features and products on a results-oriented product roadmap.
- Working with project managers, technical leads, business owners, and analysts through the entire SDLC.
- Reviewing visual designs regularly with the user-experience and design team.
- Designing and maintaining JavaScript libraries to support client standards.
- Keeping abreast of new front-end web development technologies and integrating them with existing systems.
- Understanding and supporting existing systems, resolving operations issues with engineering staff globally.
- Embracing work outside of comfort zones and being open to mentorship.
- Taking personal ownership for the work done and being passionate about technology.
Key Skills:
- 4+ years hands-on development experience in front-end development with frameworks like Angular and React.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
- Experience in designing and working with REST APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with NodeJS.
- Experience with Unit testing (Jest, Vitest).
- Solid understanding of HTML 5 and CSS 3.
- Experience in developing pixel-perfect CSS driven, table-less HTML.
- Solid experience with CMSs and migrating projects between tech stacks.
- Ability to write clean, future-proof code with proper unit testing.
- Knowledge of a distributed version control system, ideally Git.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Understanding of Agile project management disciplines, with an emphasis on Scrum.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and time management abilities.

Essential skills / experience
Is a must:
- 4+ years hands-on development experience on the front-end development with single page application frameworks like Angular, React.
- Hands on experience in working with TypeScript.
- Demonstratable experience in working with and designing REST APIs
- Knowledge and experience in working with NodeJS
- Experience with Unit testing (Jest, Vitest).
- Solid understanding and experience in HTML 5 and CSS 3.
- Hands-on experience in developing pixel perfect CSS driven, table-less HTML for all new projects, following development standards and templates as well as industry best practices.
- Solid experience in working with CMSs.
- Experience with migrating projects between tech stacks.
- Ability of writing clean, future proof code with proper unit testing.
- Knowledge of at least one distributed version control system ideally Git.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willing to work with global project teams spread across several time zones.
- Understanding the Agile project management disciplines, with an emphasis on Scrum.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and time management abilities.
Is a plus:
- Knowledge and interest in the financial services industry domain.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience in an e2e testing framework like Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience with responsive web development, mobile and video technologies.
