Summary: The Frontend Developer role is a 6-month contract position with a leading energy trading organization in Central London, requiring hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will focus on developing a post-trade platform utilizing AWS, emphasizing Front End technologies and cloud integration. This position demands hands-on full-stack development experience, particularly with React/Typescript or Svelte.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance a cutting-edge post-trade platform built on AWS.
- Provide live intraday P&L reporting and digitized Front Office workflows.
- Engage in hands-on full-stack development with a focus on Front End technologies.
- Collaborate effectively within an Agile development team.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with React/Typescript or Svelte.
- Solid understanding of scalable, secure application development.
- Strong Agile experience and collaboration skills.
- Background in commodities trading or financial services is ideal.
- Python programming (nice to have).
- AWS (S3, ECS, AppSync) knowledge (nice to have).
- Experience with GraphQL/REST APIs (nice to have).
- Familiarity with Kafka, Postgres, and microservices architecture (nice to have).
