Summary: The Murex Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the implementation of Murex Front to Back cross-asset solutions within a leading Financial Services firm. This position involves configuring Murex for front office functionalities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance workflows. The role requires a strong understanding of Murex modules and the ability to optimize performance for large-scale data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Murex for front office functionalities, ensuring system performance and stability.
  • Implement regulatory changes and ensure Murex configurations meet compliance standards.
  • Gather and translate business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and provide functional specifications for Murex.
  • Develop and execute test plans (system, integration, UAT) to meet business needs, identifying and resolving defects.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Identify process improvements, stay updated on Murex developments, and propose system enhancements.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Murex front office modules (trade execution, pricing, risk management).
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory changes impacting front office operations and experience implementing them in Murex.
  • Ability to optimize Murex for large-scale data processing and real-time trade execution.
  • Expertise in integrating Murex with other financial systems, and automating processes.
  • Familiarity with interest rate products, FX derivatives, securities, and commodity products (linear and non-linear).
