Summary: Our client, an IT solutions provider, is seeking a Senior UI Developer with expertise in Typescript, React, and JavaScript frameworks to join their development team for a financial services client in London. This role is a 6-month hybrid contract and requires candidates to work in a pair-programming setup. A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing web applications and responsive interfaces is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications and responsive interfaces for mobile/desktop browsers.
- Collaborate in a pair-programming setup.
- Apply expertise in Typescript and JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Redux, Mobx).
- Implement CSS development with/without pre-processors.
- Utilize react-native for application development.
- Work with HTML5 APIs (canvas, svg, localStorage).
- Engage in Continuous Development/Continuous Integration practices.
- Apply knowledge of Java/J2EE in development tasks.
- Utilize UML design and design patterns in projects.
- Understand regulatory environments and finance as applicable.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Typescript and JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Redux, Mobx).
- Proficient in CSS development with/without pre-processors.
- Experience with react-native.
- Familiarity with HTML5 APIs (canvas, svg, localStorage).
- Knowledge of Continuous Development/Continuous Integration.
- Understanding of Java/J2EE.
- Good knowledge of UML design and design patterns.
- Understanding of regulatory environments and finance.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
