Summary: The Front End Developer - React role involves joining the CORE Mod. team in Tax Admin for a 6-month contract. The position requires an experienced developer proficient in Java React and familiar with UI/UX design principles. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week on-site in Telford. The successful candidate will work with modern React frameworks and contribute to application development with a focus on server-side rendering and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications using React frameworks, particularly Remix and/or React Router v7.
  • Implement server-side rendering (SSR) in application development.
  • Utilize Material-UI (MUI) for application development.
  • Write and maintain code in TypeScript.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing using modern E2E frameworks, especially Playwright.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in React frameworks, particularly Remix and/or React Router v7.
  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR).
  • Familiarity with Material-UI (MUI) component library.
  • Proficient in TypeScript.
  • Experience in end-to-end testing using Playwright.

Job description:

Front End Developer (React) to join the CORE Mod. team in Tax Admin.

Experienced developer needed with experience working with a UI/UX Design lead and developing in Java React.

Skills requirement for the Front End Developer role:

  • React frameworks - Have worked with the latest React frameworks, notably Remix and/or React Router v7.
  • Server-side-rendering (SSR) - Are able to build applications with SSR in mind and understand the importance of progressive enhancement and why it matters.
  • Material-UI (MUI) - Have experience in developing applications consuming the MUI React component library.
  • TypeScript - Have experience in developing using TypeScript.
  • End-to-End testing (E2e) - Have experience testing applications using modern E2E frameworks, notably Playwright.
