Location: Telford/ Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite

Rate: Up to £619 inside ir35

Duration: 6 months

Clearance: BPSS

We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer with strong JavaScript and React skills to join a high-profile digital programme.

You'll work closely with a UI/UX Design Lead and wider Agile delivery team, developing modern, accessible and user-focused digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality technical solutions.
• Build reusable, responsive and accessible React components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and code reviews.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience as a Front End Developer.
• Excellent JavaScript skills.
• Strong hands-on React / ReactJS experience.
• Experience working alongside UI/UX Designers or Design Leads.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Understanding of responsive and accessible web development.

Desirable

• Public sector or government experience.
• GOV.UK Design System experience.
• HTML / CSS.
• WCAG and web accessibility.
• Git.
