Key Skills:
- Front-End development skills in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of ReactJS.
- Experience with templating (e.g., Handlebars) and task runners (e.g., Gulp, Yarn).
- Good API knowledge and use of Restful services.
- Understanding of analytics and tracking.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and responsive web development.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
- Familiarity with GitHub actions and AWS is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of basic UX principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.

We’re looking for a Developer to come and join our technology team, whilst you’ll be a Front-End focused, we also like to dabble in a spot of Python, PHP or whatever might be needed to deliver the best solution. You will work closely with other members of the technology team, making sure all our projects are of the very highest standard. You’ll contribute actively to the team to make sure we all stay up to date with the latest in technology landscape. As with all Cheil roles this is a 1 year fixed term contract in the first instance with a view to be extended.
What the day to day looks like…
- You’ll be delivering high-quality Front-End solutions that are integral to the customer’s goals
- Undertake feasibility studies - 'can it be done?’
- Produce estimates - 'how long will it take?'
- Share your ideas with your colleagues in the technology the team
- Participate constructively in inter-department communications
Strings to your bow...
- Front-End development - HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, working knowledge of ReactJS
- Experience of templating e.g., Handlebars, task runners e.g., Gulp, Yarn
- Good API knowledge and use of Restful services
- Knowledge of analytics and tracking
- You know your way round cross-browser ‘quirks’ & nuances & responsive web development
- Plus, ideally Adobe Experience Manager – page creation, template/component usage, publishing workflow
- Experience in an agency would be bonus
- If you’ve used Github actions, AWS that would be great
