One of Loriens leading Public Sector clients is looking for an highly experienced Front-End App Developer to join their Digital focused team on an initial 6 months contract based in Glasgow.
Essential Skills:
Technology knowledge - ideally we are looking for someone with experience in as many of the below as possible:
- Experience of modern JavaScript practices and industry standards regarding front-end technologies
- Commercial experience with React, Typescript, NodeJS, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, React Testing Library
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Experience with CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins), including build and package management tools
General knowledge - Experience in most or all of the following practices and design patterns:
Programming Best Practices (i.e. Clean Code, SOLID, etc.)
Are familiar with good continuous integration and continuous delivery principles
Experience of microservice design patterns
Bridging the gap between the technical and non-technical
- Translate technical concepts between infrastructure, delivery management and service management so they are understood by all
- Able to speak on behalf of technical and development teams and facilitate the relationships with indirect stakeholders
- Able to share knowledge and mentor (potentially non-technical) colleagues
