ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM We’re looking for freelance writers to collaborate with Hitched.co.uk to provide project-based content support across a range of editorial projects/ We’re expanding our network of contributors to create high-quality content within the wedding space. This contract for services opportunity is suited to independent professionals operating as freelance businesses (e.g. limited companies or sole traders). Articles will be assigned monthly by the Editorial Lead, depending on workload and content needs, so the volume of work may vary from month to month. There is no fixed volume of articles, and there are no fixed weekly deadline, but there will be a pre-set number of articles to be delivered each month, delivering outputs rather than working as part of the team The Editorial Lead will assign all topics, on a per-project or per-deliverable basis, and this will primarily focus on SEO-driven and affiliate content. This includes evergreen wedding content (trends, advice, inspiration, etc.). We’re looking for someone who: Operates as an independent freelance writer with multiple clients. Has proven experience writing for online media in lifestyle, fashion, or beauty (essential) as a freelancer. Has experience in the wedding industry (a strong plus). Has experience creating affiliate content and is familiar with affiliate platforms. Is comfortable working independently and managing ad hoc assignments. English writing with excellent writing skills. Can produce well-structured, engaging and SEO-optimized content. Has their own equipment and resources. As a bonus, we’d love to work with someone who is also open to occasionally creating short-form video content for Social Media, based on their articles. This is not an employed role. There is no expectation of exclusivity, fixed hours, or integration into internal structures. We are seeking a supplier relationship.
