Freelance Vehicle Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as a technician or MOT tester.
• Work with various clients including main dealerships and independent garages.
• Manage your own schedule and workload based on personal preference.
• Utilize your own tools and maintain a full UK driving licence.
• Complete a minimum of 100 MOT tests if applying as an MOT tester.
• Participate in ongoing training and assessments as required.

Key Skills:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in vehicle technology.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or MOT Tester.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for work assignments.
• Experience in conducting MOT tests with a minimum of 6 months in the role.

Salary (Rate): £45,000.00
