Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training courses such as SIA CCTV, SIA Door Supervisor and Refresher, First Aid, and Spectator Safety.
- Assess learner competence and provide constructive feedback, including IQA roles at Level 4.
- Prepare and adapt training materials to meet the needs of various groups.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progression and achievement.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Liaise with the Training Manager and administrative team regarding scheduling and quality assurance.
Key Skills:
- Relevant trainer or assessor qualifications in the subject(s) to be delivered.
- IQA qualification (Level 4) is desirable for IQA roles.

Role Description This opportunity is for LEVEL 4 IQA to deliver accredited security and supplementary training courses to a diverse range of learners as part of Sierra 1 Security Stewarding’s expanding team. The successful freelance tutors will help uphold the company’s reputation for quality training by facilitating engaging and informative sessions, assessing learner competence, and supporting participants to achieve industry-recognized qualifications.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Deliver training courses such as SIA CCTV, SIA Door Supervisor and Refresher, First Aid (EFAW, FAW, First Responder), Spectator Safety (Level 2 or 3), and more, according to your qualifications. Assess learner competence and provide constructive feedback, where qualified to do so, including IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) roles at Level 4. Prepare and adapt training materials to suit the needs of various groups and ensure compliance with awarding body requirements. Maintain accurate records of learner progression and achievement. Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment throughout all training activities. Liaise with the Training Manager and the administrative team about scheduling, reporting, and quality assurance.
