Summary: The Freelance SRE/CDN Engineer role is a short-term contract focused on enhancing reliability and performance in a fast-paced technical environment. The engineer will work on-site near London for 2-3 days a week over a 3-month period. Candidates lacking CDN experience or the ability to work on-site will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a fast-moving technical environment focusing on reliability, performance, scalability, and CDN-related optimisation.
- Utilise CDN technologies such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, CloudFront or similar.
- Engage in performance optimisation, caching, traffic routing, edge delivery, DNS, monitoring, and incident response.
- Work in high-availability, production-critical environments.
- Be available for freelance work for an initial 3-month contract.
