Summary: This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with an independent Creative & PR business, focusing on the development of a process automation tool that enhances public relevance for clients. The position combines elements of moderation, strategy, and social insights, leveraging cultural intelligence to drive business impact. The freelance project allows for flexibility in duration and requires a hybrid working arrangement from the London office. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in social listening and data analysis, with a focus on integrating AI into insights generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create reports on social listening, trends, and research (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Build a product focused on public relevance using data and AI.
  • Develop a data and AI tool to automate manual processes currently performed by junior analysts.
  • Operationalise multiple data sources into one platform for efficient insights and client reporting.
  • Integrate multiple APIs and data sources such as synthetic users, Agility, SEMrush, and YouGov.
  • Compare existing reports with the blueprint to assess gaps and improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of what constitutes 'good' insights and cultural decoding.
  • Skilled in social listening tools (Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Agility, Meltwater, etc.).
  • Experience in running and interpreting qualitative research (moderation, communities, interviews, etc.).
  • Strong strategic framing and storytelling skills.
  • Comfortable with BI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, GDS).
  • Proficient in AI prompting and workflows for faster, sharper insights.

Exciting opportunity to join an independent Creative & PR business to support them in bringing in a process automation tool. This is a unique role where you will sit at the intersection of moderator, strategist, and social insights lead. Their focus is on changing public perception and building public relevance for their clients, using digital and social-first insights. Using cultural intelligence you will connect the dots between trends, communities etc to create business impact. Freelance project (length will be guided by you and the business needs) Circa £400-£450 day rate (outside IR35) ASAP start date but can be flexible London office- hybrid working

The role:

  • Creating reports such as social listening, trends, and research (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Building a product focused on public relevance using data and AI
  • Aim is to build a data and AI tool that acts like a super version of ChatGPT to address industry challenges
  • The tool will automate manual processes currently done by a junior analyst, including social listening, trend reporting, and research
  • The goal is to operationalise multiple data sources into one platform for efficient insights and client reporting
  • The AI tool is being built to integrate multiple APIs and data sources such as synthetic users, Agility, SEMrush, and YouGov.
  • They plan to compare existing reports with their blueprint to assess gaps and improvements

The person:

  • You must know what ‘good’ insights looks like, decoding culture and turn your findings into a strategy
  • Skilled in social listening tools (Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Agility, Meltwater, etc.)
  • Experience running and interpreting qualitative research (moderation, communities, interviews etc
