Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing site activities and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensuring H&S compliance, quality standards, and timely delivery
  • Conducting daily briefings and liaising with the PM and client team
  • Managing site records and reporting progress
  • Timber Frame Construction – including off-site manufactured panel installation
  • External Works – hard and soft landscaping, pathways, car parking, drainage
  • Sports Facilities – construction of associated outdoor amenities

Key Skills:

  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid
  • Proven experience managing similar projects (education builds preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of timber frame construction methods
  • Ability to drive site performance while maintaining excellent communication
  • Excellent knowledge of Tier 1 level H&S

I am recruiting for an experienced Site Manager for an exciting new build project: a purpose-built SEN (Special Educational Needs) school in Selby, starting this August. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor with a strong pipeline of education sector work.

OVERVIEW: To be responsible for the day-to-day site management, reporting to the Project Manager. Your focus will be ensuring safe, efficient, and quality delivery on all aspects of the build.

  • Overseeing site activities and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensuring H&S compliance, quality standards, and timely delivery
  • Conducting daily briefings and liaising with the PM and client team
  • Managing site records and reporting progress
