Advert: Site Manager 16-Week Contract

Location: Galashiels

Start Date: Late February 2025

Working Hours: 10 hours per day

Are you a skilled Site Manager looking to lead a dynamic project? We have an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager to oversee a new build development in Galashiels for a 16-week contract.

The Role:

You will take charge of a new build project valued at under 2 million, ensuring that all aspects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing site operations from inception to completion.


• Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and site personnel.


• Monitoring project progress and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.


• Upholding strict health and safety standards on-site.


• Reporting regularly to stakeholders on site progress and any potential issues.

Requirements:

• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).


• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.


• Current First Aid at Work certification.


• Proven experience managing new build developments.


• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


• IT literacy
