Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Managing project costs and budgets.
• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating subcontract packages.
• Valuations, variations, and change management.
• Producing cost reports and forecasts.
• Managing subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• Supporting the project team with commercial and contractual advice.
• Ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is preferred.
• CSCS card (preferred).
